Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Wells Fargo are pleased to provide financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of the 47 public historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the TMCF member-school network. Students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible for the Wells Fargo Scholarship.
Selected scientists will receive a one-year scholarship of up to $5,000 for the 2021 academic school year to cover tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, and required textbooks purchased from member schools.

Requirements for the Well Fargo HBCU-TMCF Scholarship
For the 2021 school year, you can enroll as a second-year student, a junior, or a senior.
- Enroll as a full-time student at one of TMCF’s 47 member schools.
- A current point average of 3.0 or higher is required.
- Financial need must be demonstrated.
- Demonstrate your leadership abilities using a variety of methods.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident with a valid permanent residence permit.
- All majors are welcome.

The Wells Fargo Scholarship program for people with disabilities is designed to provide people with disabilities with the education or training they need to succeed in their chosen career path.
You must have a specific disability in order to apply (defined as someone who has or considers himself or herself to be a long-term or recurring issue affecting one or more important life activities).
Candidates must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in a full or part-time undergraduate program at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States for the 2021 academic year.

Undergraduate Wells Fargo Scholarships
The Wells Fargo student scholarships 2023 are available to registered members of a federally recognized Indian tribe, Alaska Native group, or a state-recognized tribe in the United States, as well as those who can provide documentation proving descent from a state or federally recognized strain.

How to Apply for Scholarships through the Wells Fargo Scholars Program
- Download the current version of the exhibition guide.
- Prior to the start of your application, identify all the scholarships for which you are applying. You cannot add information or additional scholarships to your application once it has been submitted. Keep the following available for upload before you start the application:
- A typed personal essay with double line spacing. However, this essay must contain information about yourself, including your professional and educational goals, financial needs or how a scholarship can help you achieve your goals, as well as specific information requested by each of the scholarships you apply for.
- A signed COE application form for exhibition programs (see page 6 of the exhibition guide).
- Continue required.
- Complete the online application.
